What a custom order form should ask
- Pickup or delivery date and time: the most important line. Write the time, not just the day.
- Exactly what is ordered: item, quantity or servings, flavor, filling, size and shape.
- Design details: theme, colors and any lettering, spelled out the way it should appear.
- Allergies and dietary needs: ask every time, even for repeat customers.
- Money: the order total, the deposit that holds the date and the balance with its due date.
- Your policy: what happens to the deposit if the order is cancelled, until when changes are possible and how long you wait at pickup.

Copy it into Google Forms
If customers order online, create a new form in Google Forms and add these questions. Google Forms collects the answers in a spreadsheet for you.

What should a cake order form include?

Should I take a deposit with the order form?
A deposit holds the date and covers your ingredients if an order is cancelled late. Write the amount and the date it was paid on the form. The deposits guide explains how to choose it.
Can I use it as a Google Form?

Is anything I type saved?
