## What it does

- **One row per order:** customer, contact, pickup or delivery date and time, items, quantity, price, extras and discount.
- **Money worked out for you:** order total, a suggested deposit and the balance due.
- **Payment status at a glance:** Unpaid, Deposit paid, Paid, Overpaid, or Check refund for cancelled orders.
- **A Next step column** that flags overdue orders, orders due today or tomorrow, missing details, and completed orders that still owe a balance.
- **Upcoming tab:** open orders due in your chosen window (7 days by default), plus anything overdue, earliest first.
- **Monthly tab:** orders, completed orders, order value, collected and still to collect, by month.
- **Home tab:** open orders, due soon, overdue and balance to collect at a glance.

## Before you buy

- Requires a free Google account and Google Sheets on a desktop or laptop. It is not designed for phones or tablets.
- Google Sheets only: there is no Excel version. The template and the guide are in English.
- You enter orders by hand. It does not take orders, send messages, process payments, create invoices or track inventory.
- One currency at a time; the currency label does not convert money. Amounts are before tax and fees.
- Dates are entered in month/day/year format.
- It is a separate file from [Bakery Pricing Studio](https://tidybatchstudio.com/bakery-pricing-spreadsheet/): prices are typed in, not linked automatically.

### Can I track cakes, cookies and bread in the same file?

Yes. Each row is one order; describe it in Items.

### What if an order has several products?

Enter a quantity of 1 with the combined price and list the products in Items.

### Is there a free bakery order tracker?

This template is a paid download (USD 3.50 on Etsy). For free, you can give customers the printable [bakery order form](https://tidybatchstudio.com/bakery-order-form/) or put its questions in Google Forms, which saves the answers in a spreadsheet. Bakery Order Tracker adds balances, payment statuses, the Next step column, the Upcoming tab and monthly totals.

### Is there an Excel version?

No. It is made for Google Sheets on a desktop or laptop.
